Fuel poverty data linking

This research presents the emerging findings of an analysis of administrative data for the Welsh Government Warm Homes Nest Scheme linked to routine health records. The project aims to examine the impact of home energy improvement measures implemented under the Nest Scheme on the health of recipients e.g. levels of hospital admissions.

Understanding the characteristics of low income households most at risk from living in cold homes

This research identifies which low income households are the most vulnerable from living in cold homes and therefore are likely to be in the greatest need of a home energy efficiency intervention.

Evaluation of the Nest energy efficiency scheme

An independent evaluation of the Nest scheme was commissioned in 2014 to assess whether or not it had met its objectives and to assess the extent to which the scheme had reached households most in need, resulted in energy savings for householders and provided value for money.
