Re:Fit Cymru Logo

Our programme to help make Wales’ public bodies more energy efficient.

Established in 2016, the programme supports energy efficiency and renewable energy measures, resulting in cash savings from lower energy use and reduced carbon emissions.

Re:fit Cymru helps public bodies in Wales, including:

  • local authorities,
  • NHS bodies,
  • Welsh Government departments,
  • schools and other education providers,
  • cultural and heritage bodies.

The Re:fit Cymru Programme Implementation Unit is an expert team providing end to end support to develop and successfully implement projects. This support service is co-funded by the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme of the European Union, and is provided to public sector organisations in Wales for a small contribution.

The Re:fit framework contains 16 framework providers as part of a 4 year OJEU procurement. Public bodies can save time and resources procuring Re:fit services and works. As it is an energy performance contracting framework energy and cost savings are guaranteed.

Re:fit Cymru is helping to achieve our ambitious target to cut emissions by at least 80 per cent by 2050.
