Part 4 discusses the types of activities that can help organisations prepare for climate change and delivering and managing adaptation actions.

Preparing for a changing climate is a relatively new and fast-moving area of work. The Guidance reflects this and recognizes that there is no single, uniformly-applicable process for adapting to climate change.

Many organisations are only just starting to implement climate change adaptation actions.

Part 4 involves implementing a planned approach to taking adaptation actions. It also describes actions that help organisations build capacity to prepare for climate change and deliver adaptation actions.

There are many opportunities to share and learn from the experiences of others. This guidance will evolve as adaptation planning in Wales becomes more mainstreamed and examples of relevant actions are documented.
