Date of Event: 20/03/2012

The purpose of these events will be to provide practitioners and  those involved in education policy development and delivery with a progress update on the Minister for Education and Skills plans to raise school standards. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate success in our schools and focus on the support available for school improvement.

Event details:

  • 8 March 2012 - All Nations Centre, Cardiff (past event)
  • 13 March 2012 - Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli (past event)
  • 15 March 2012 - Venue Cymru, Llandudno (past event)
  • 20 March 2012 - University of Glamorgan, Pontypridd  (past event)

The afternoon session will focus on support programmes for schools and identifying the priorities for the consortia.  There will be two separate working groups for primary and secondary schools with the purpose of identifying priorities for each consortium following the February stocktake.  We would therefore recommend that representatives attend their own consortium event to ensure this session is relevant to them.

We anticipate that these events are going to be extremely popular, we may therefore need to limited places per organisation.
