Following the Prior Information Notice (PIN) events held in September 2016, we are updating important information relating to the procurement of All Age Employability and Apprenticeships provision.

Date of Event: 26/09/2017

It is the intention of the Welsh Government to procure a framework to deliver All Age Employability and Apprenticeship programmes for the period April 2019 to March 2023.  Please note that the new Advice and Guidance Framework (AGF), formerly known as the Employment Advisory Service is no longer included in this procurement.

Further information on how AGF will be taken forward will be cascaded at a later date.

The lots for which we will procure are intended to be:

  • Lot 1 Apprenticeships
  • Lot 2 Working Wales Youth Engagement Programme
  • Lot 3 Working Wales Youth Training
  • Lot 4 Working Wales Adult Programme

We will be providing further information on the procurement process and lots at events to be held in September. Please make every effort to attend one of the events below:

We do not envisage each event lasting for more than an hour and a half.

All material at these events will be produced in Welsh and English. However, due to low demand at the previous events simultaneous translation will not be offered.

To register for any of the above events please email your details to Employabilityandapprenticeship@wales.gsi.gov.uk

Sell2Wales

Sell2wales is an advertising portal for contract opportunities that is also used widely by a wide range of Public sector organisations.

A key component of its commitment to the ‘Wales Procurement Policy Statement’ is that Welsh Government (WG) advertises all of its tendering opportunities above £25,000 through Sell2Wales (external link)

Suppliers register on the website indicating the specific goods or services they can offer and/or the kinds of work they are interested in, and automatically receive by e-mail details of relevant tendering opportunities. Full guidance on registration is available on the website. Registration is free of charge.

If you have not already done so you should immediately register your details at Sell2Wales (external link) to hear about tendering opportunities. The procurement opportunities under this programme will be advertised on Sell2Wales in due course.
