There are more museums than any other type of attraction in Wales and they can be found in all corners of the country.

Visiting a museum is the third most popular activity for tourists during a trip to Wales, but only 39% of the Welsh population visits museums.

The Wales museum visitor survey explores how tourists use and respond to museums. The National Survey of Wales (external link) asked who used museums in Wales and reasons for not using museums.
