The energy world is changing with more focus on local energy use and generation and less on big centralised electricity.

The Smart Living Technical Group was established to help Wales keep ahead of views arising on international and domestic platforms from key stakeholders.

The key stakeholders are active in a variety of Smart Living areas and members cover a mix of private, public, academic and Government interests.

The report includes discussions of the initial meeting and wider considerations which innovative parties around the world are exploring.

The report will help further thinking in the Smart Living area and enable the need to explore the possible links across health, education and transport within smart cities, urban and rural areas across Wales.

We have also developed several case studies to highlight a number of key development projects within the area.
