This is the final edition of health statistics Wales.
In line with the consultation ‘Proposals concerning the publication of official statistics’ this will be the final publication. That consultation set out the proposal: ‘To move the data from many of our compendia publications from hard copy/pdf to StatsWales, ensuring that the data is available to users in a manner that is open source and downloadable.’
Much of the information contained in this release is already available either on StatsWales or from other organisations websites. Over the coming months an index of sources will be made available alongside this release to direct users to where the information can be found now that this publication has ceased.
