All Wales School Liaison Core Programme

The Schoolbeat website provides teachers with ideas for follow-up work in support of All Wales School Liaison Core Programme lessons on :

  • Drugs and substance misuse;
  • Social behaviour and the community;
  • Personal safety.

Amnesty International Wales

Provide information and bilingual teaching resources about human rights for primary and secondary schools.

Education Programmes National Assembly for Wales

The National Assembly for Wales, Education Service helps young people to gain awareness of how the Assembly works and how it affects people in Wales. The service offers:

  • debates in Siambr Hywel 
  • workshop.

Council for Education in World citizenship

To help young people develop as active citizens of Wales and the world, CECW-Cymru provide a wide range of active citizenship resources and activities.

Children’s Commissioner for Wales

The Children's Commissioner speaks out and stands up for children and young people's rights in Wales. The Ambassadors Project promotes children’s rights in schools.

Community Service Volunteers (CSV)

Promote active citizenship and volunteering in schools.

Equality and Human Rights Commission

Provide information and resources about human rights and all aspects of equality; disability, age, gender, religion or belief, sexual orientation and race.

Funky Dragon

The Children and Young People’s Assembly for Wales aims to give 0 – 25 year-olds the opportunity to get their voices heard on issues that affect them.

Let’s Get it Right!

A Welsh Government website providing UNCRC awareness raising materials and a bilingual toolkit.

Pupil Participation Project

This Welsh Government project supports the development of school councils and wider opportunities for participation in schools.

Save the Children

Save the Children hosts a Participation Unit on behalf of the Children and Young People's Participation Consortium for Wales.

Shelter Cymru

Provide PSE related resources that address homelessness, housing options and leaving home.

Show Racism the Red Card

The campaign that uses footballers to educate against racism, and provides resources for teachers.


UNICEF UK manages the Rights Respecting Schools Award, a national scheme that promotes the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
