Health and Social Services Minister Mark Drakeford paid tribute to the work of Maggie’s cancer centre based at Singleton Hospital, Swansea.

During a visit to the National Eisteddfod in Meifod, the First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones will today announce over £220,000 to extend a Welsh Language Charter across North Wales during 2015-16.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Ruth Hussey is calling on young people to have the meningitis ACWY vaccine, which is being introduced in Wales from Monday.

The scheme will reduce the risk of flooding and save an estimated £50 million cost of flood damages.
