Information link

One copy of everything the Welsh Government publishes in print is deposited on demand with each library in the project.

Information Link is an innovative project between the Welsh Government and the Public Library Authorities in Wales. Its aim is to provide easily accessible information on and by the Welsh Government to the public using a network of designated libraries across Wales.

Lists are sent out approximately once a month containing the latest  titles, along with web links. The types of publications we supply include:

  • strategies
  • health information
  • policy documents
  • leaflets
  • consultations
  • posters
  • research
  • guidance.

The libraries are committed to retain this information for a minimum of six months. They can arrange and store the publications to suit their particular circumstances. After six months some libraries may decide to keep material for reference purposes or because it has special local interest, integrating it into their existing stock.

Most of the libraries also offer access to the internet where you can access the most recent Welsh Government publications on our website. You can also look at our online catalogue which lists all Welsh Government publications and provides an online order form which is sent to the Publications Centre.
